The answer became The Advent Lake & Cabin. Tucked away in Barangay Cansuso, Cavinti, Laguna, this lakeside property was built as a deliberate counterpoint to the pace of modern life. A place where the schedule is sunrise and sunset, and the loudest thing you'll hear is the sound of water.

We chose Cavinti not just for its beauty, but for its soul. This quiet municipality in Laguna — gateway to Pagsanjan Falls, hidden lake trails, and lush forest paths — offered exactly the kind of stillness we wanted to give guests. Far enough from the city to feel like another world. Close enough to reach on a Friday night.

From the moment we opened our doors, our purpose has been the same: to be the place Filipinos come to when they need to remember what rest actually feels like.

How We Got Here

The Advent Story

2022

The Discovery

A drive through Cavinti, a pull-over at the lake, and a thought that wouldn't go away: this place should be shared. The property at Barangay Cansuso is found and the idea begins to take shape.

2023

Building Begins

Construction on the Family Cabin starts. The design philosophy is simple: keep it close to nature, warm on the inside, and honest in every detail. The Tiny Cabin concept develops alongside it.

Early 2024

Doors Open

The Advent Lake & Cabin welcomes its first guests. Both cabins are listed on Airbnb and Agoda. The response from the first wave of visitors sets the tone — quiet, grateful, and already planning a return trip.

Mid 2024

Growing Word of Mouth

Guests start sharing their stays online. The Instagram account grows organically. Bookings increase through the second half of the year as more people discover Cavinti as a weekend destination.

2025

Still Here, Still Quiet

The lake hasn't changed. The cabins have been refined with every season. We're still small on purpose — two cabins, real hospitality, and one very clear reason to visit: you need this.
